The Rooster and I sat together for a moment after we finished reading the bedtime stories.
“I will love you forever and ever and always, no matter what,” I told her.
The Rooster smiled and snuggled in.
Then she added,“I will love YOU forever and ever no matter what too,” she said.
“I will love you until I'm a million years old and so tall that I break right through the roof of our house!”

THAT is some kind of lovin'!
What an absolutely wonderful little face. And personality to go with it.
Miss Cutey-Pants. I have a fabulous gift for you! I'm just saying... Arrived yesterday.
You need to bottle that right there and keep it forever *sigh*
so sweet, what a great smile
Oh dear, you'd better start saving so you can repair the roof!
She looks a lot like you, doesn't she?
My son tells me I'm his favorite girl in the world. :)
Incidentally, my word verification is "undust". Undust the house. I need to do that.
big nut-brown hare couldn't beat that.
Save that one until she gets older and you start completely ruining her life!!!
sweet. Have you read Love You Forever by Robert Munsch?
I cannot believe how GROWN UP she looks.
My 12 year old son and I have played I love you more than since he could talk. When he reached the competitive age of 11 it turned into
a "sporting event." One night not to be one upped by me--he yelled "I loved you more before you even knew I was born." I let him score.
Thank you for the enjoyment your posts bring to my day!
Sigh. Or, at least until she's a teenager.
And this, ladies, is why we all had kids.
The ultimate question is how well will your love hold when footing the bill for a new roof, and mopping up the puddles on the floor caused by rain in your living room...
So cute..and she is getting to big!
She's the spitting image of you.
Good golly you have a cute daughter~ I hadn't seen any recent pictures of her, and she will be way too popular for her own good when she his Jr.high!
Lovely! We have the equivalent, but instead of 'a million' it's 'infinity' na, na, na, na, na!
Cheers
But, what will you do when she's a million and two? (or fifteen, whichever comes first)
Sooooooooo sweet.
P.S. Bryan says he will only stay married to me for 99 years. At year 100, I am on my own.
Awwwww~ that's some serious lovin' right there! I love that she has big plans to get that tall :)
