Quiet Time

"We're having QUIET time now," K said. "Find a QUIET activity that you can do by yourself."
The Rooster looked up at him and SHOUTED,

"WELL, I HAVE TO POOP SO THAT'S GOING TO BE MY ACTIVITY!!!"
[That's my girl.]

*************************************************************

The Mayor had his CAT Scan this morning.
I'll know more on the 31st.

So, she's a quiet pooper?

Good luck with the CT scan stuff.

And happy new year.

The older you get, the less quiet it becomes.

Good luck.

I just snorted and it was NOT quiet. Please apologize to K for me.

(also I am thinking and hoping and praying and wishing for Mayor. Love you)

Boo has started taking a book with her into the bathroom when she has to poop (which she also announces loudly, to all and sundry). It's quiet, as long as quiet includes "reading" and declaiming about the size and scent of said poop.

Parenting sure is interesting....

We have three bathrooms at my house and my stepson, age 11, runs around screaming, "Where should I poop, where should I poop???" when he has to go. Kids.

LOVE her comeback! You people have 'hilarious' bred right into your DNA, I swear!

Hope things go well regarding the CAT scan. Prayers and Blessings!

Merry Christmas!

That is hilarious!

Keep us posted on the CT results. K had surgery (for different reasons) in November and it went really well, but holy hell, was it scary on the front end. Let me know if you need a pep talk. ;)

How adorable!! I have a feeling my little 13 month old will be just the same. She announces every time she passes an "air biscuit" by whispering "pooh-pooh" out of the corner of her mouth.

Good luck with the cat scan. My thoughts are with you. Re poop--until babies I had no idea how engrossing it could be. Then they take over the interest themselves and as kids do about their interests, discuss them with abandon. After that comes the poop and all things related is hilarious stage. That stage never ends.

I'm glad the CAT scan is behind you. We're all counting on only good news. And quiet pooping, of course.

I know how you're feeling about the waiting. It's an eternity and it's all you think about. Hoping and praying all news is good and the best possible for the Mayor.

She is learning young that sometimes that is the only time when a woman can find quiet time! That is the funniest thing I have read all week!
