Oh, hai!
I stole every single image in this post from the Internet!
[I bow down and worship at the feet of your Flickr account. Thanks!]
So.
Blogher recap.
It must be done so that moving on can occur.
Here goes...
When I first arrived at Blogher, I SHOULD HAVE gone to help Megan.
Jen, Jenny, Katie, Izzy and I were [ostensibly] helping Megan throw The People's Party the Thursday before Blogher began.
[cough, cough]
Let me come clean right here and now.
Megan did ALL the work leading up to the party and RIGHT when I SHOULD have gone to help her get everything ready, who did I run in to?
Ooops. Not THE BOSS, Bossy.
Bossy convinced me to get on a teeny tiny shuttle bus and ride for an hour and forty five minutes to some small town near Palo Alto to go to a party at Guy Kawasaki's house.
While we were lost on the bus we asked Greeblemonkey for a complete Guy Kawasaki bio.
Guy Kawasaki turned out to be the world's greatest host.
He took me in to his office and added this lil' ol' blog to his website without even stopping to take off his pool hat.
At Guy's house, I finally met Ms. HOOKER FABULOUS.
Then things got a little blurry.
[Or at least I got a little blurry. The house seems to be in perfect focus.]
I met the charming and talented Laid Off Dad on the shuttle back to the hotel.
And, doh! I was late for my own party!
[LOSER!]
Sorry, Megan!
But, late or not, I still managed to enjoy myself.
Here I am getting a good snuggle from Mrs. Flinger and Jenny from Absolutely Bananas.
I got to see Andi and Sarah...
Jennifer and Y...
And Ali Martell...
But then, Amy brought THAT GIRL around again.
She was totally mackin' on me.
So I felt her up.
And then I was officially under her spell.
"Yesssssssssss, Massssssssstttttaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh..."
Later, I met Backpacking Dad, who found me wholly irritating.
[Someone fell into an uncanny valley!]
I stayed up WAY too late talking to my roommate and in the morning, the conference began.
[And this is where I simply want to parade a series of my favorite stolen images before you...]
Lotta was there...
And Deb...
and Angella D.
[Can I pause and tell you what a joy it was to meet WhyMommy? Thanks.]
What a joy it was to meet WhyMommy!
Amanda brought Fin. It was great to meet them in person.
Joanne was there...
K.C. and Ali were looking fine...
Stimey could not have been any cuter...
[This badass was NOT there and that was just plain WRONG.]
It's not just any conference where you can go to a department store to spill hummus on Coach handbags with Amie, Julie, Kelly, Stephanie, Sarah and Kim!
And...
My new girlfriend continued to love me up right...
Though she was a little jealous when I did the dirty dancing with A Cowboy's Wife.
And A Mommy's Story...
Oh, and when I snogged with SlackerMom...
Hey, Jennster... Miss me?
Casey was a little surprised about my burgeoning relationship with Super Blondie.
But she needn't have worried. I was soon swept away by a sweet, young girl...
Tara Anderson and Gwen Bell are extra-super-fabulous.
But Tara has this little Lijit widget.... Oh, my! The things it can do!
There were a couple of workshops...
But the best thing about the Blogher conference is meeting the women you read and love.
[Even though they will inevitably wear you right the hell out.]

Am I first? Am I REALLY really first? aggghhhhh!! what was my point again?
Oh. right. Love the post. Love the STOLEN PICTURES. And I ESPECIALLY love the ass shot.
What fun pix. I LOVE that black shirt you are wearing. And then, of couse, there is your ass...niiice.
If I had known your ass was that amazing and had it's own area code then I would have TOTALLY grabbed it.
What a missed opportunity. I was too captivated by your radiant smile and supreme fun & happy brilliance.
Next time I will be more shallow. Promise.
You are LOVED, girl. By ME.
Jess, you are so beautiful and wonderful. I adore you.
Hmmm... I suppose this means I can start stealing photos, too!! ;)
This may be the best Blogher Post for this year’s Blogher I’ve read/looked at yet. It just looks like soooo much fun! Curious, as the founder of the Publisher’s Union of Bloggers (P.U.B.), was the revenue stream for us publishers ever discussed by any of those widget gals?
P.U.B. expected to hear back from the Lijit people regarding our P.U.B. questionnaire concerning financial and private statistics issues we sent to Lijit in mid April 2008. So far all we’ve read is a public blog response from a Lijit employee advising Lijit has no money (I think it was Tara!), and more recently, we received an email from Lijit’s CEO, Todd Vernon, attacking P.U.B. and falsely accusing we are writing fictitious emails. Any actual answers to our questions about the use of Publisher’s stats, or revenue as it applies to Lijit? Nada. Nothing.
Did you hear anything at Blogher along these lines? P.U.B.’s job is to fight for Gal and Guy Publishers asking these hard questions. If all Widget companies respond as Lijit’s done up to this point, P.U.B. has a big workload ahead for defending Publishers.
If P.U.B. gets a straight answer on topic from Lijit, we will let great Blog Publishers like you know their exact revenue/statistics use/sharing deal. If you do, with your connections, please give us a heads up.
Party on!

And I was focusing my photography passion on ranch life....apparently it should be on photographing people's ass since I did so well on yours:)
Hmm. Looks fun and intimidating all at once. That was the best collection of blogher photos I've seen. Pictures really are worth 55,000 words.
I am there all over again. Only sober.
I had no idea we could mack on you. *smacks forehead* Next year, next year.
mamatulip!! gah! i SO wish she had been there too! ;)
awesome recap...even if you DID use stolen goods. you = made of awesome.
That was hilarious. Though every time someone mentions meeting Amanda and Finley I get a little jealous because they are so close yet so far away and I never got to meet them.
Oh and remember that time you said "Hey Heather, come over here" and I said I'd be right back because I suck? Yeah...Sad face. But at least I took a pretty photo of you. Does that make anything better?
I've read a boatload of Blogher posts and I really enjoyed yours!! I loved all the pictures and just seeing how much fun it was!!
Thanks for sharing!
My new goal in life...to meet Guy Kawasaki and WhyMommy!!
Someday maybe I will get my act together and do somethign this fabulous.
It was awesome to meet you and I was bowled over by what you said (did I email that yet? I'm all fuzzy. Must be the dread disease I haven't recovered from.).
You can steal my photos anytime.
WHAT does a girl have to do to get mentioned in her post????
I mean...I ogled yer boobs for damn sake.
Now I'm going to go fall into an uncanny valley and never come out.
Freaking hilarious!
I got to hang out with That Badass and she is fantabulous.
tara and gwen are TEH awesomest. the end. also? you under jennster's spell? high-larious.
I'm sad I wasn't there. I would have loved to have meet you. In 2009, you better expect some groping from me.
Wholly irritating. I couldn't believe your temerity; coming up to me and speaking, like I was supposed to know you or something.
I'm glad I blew you off the very first night and never saw you again the entire weekend.
;}
am jealous.
First line: I thought I was the one you were coming to help.
alas.
also: nice ass
This is me, absolutely wishing I was there. :(
And that I had adult friends to meet at places like that.
And that my ass looked that good in jeans.
It was wonderful to meet you. Loooove the stolen photos! You are as beautiful and nice as you come across through your writing.
What a great set. You look fabulous throughout, which is not easy to do.
Glad you had a great time.
I was OK with not going to Blogher until I saw Jenny The Bloggess' beautiful cleavage, then I cried a little.
Thanks.
(Can't they make an easier "word verification" for drunk bloggers? I mean, give a drunk girl a break.)
Fabulous pictures of fabulous women.
And of course...the ass, very nice.
Oh my Lord take that terribly grumpy picture of me down! Replace it with a nice one of your butt again. Can't have too many of those!
you are too too awesome, lady. 'twas awesome to meet you. i'm also happy i was able to introduce you to the phrase "parenthetical aside". the world is a better place for it.
So to get on Guys site I have to actually grope him?
Duly noted.
Oh and if you scroll really fast up and down the page it totally looks like a rave.
Hope to meet you next year!....assuming I get there next year....that is the plan!
I'm so jealous!
I wanted to go, too...
Maybe next time...
Oh, the HOTNESS! ;)
Love, love the photos!
I've found myself annoyed with many BlogHer recaps, but this one was great with all of its photographic awesomeness. And of course, with you as the gorgeous center of them all.
See, I didn't have to go after all. I just experienced the fast forward version, and loved it. (It's so nice to laugh, isn't it?) Thanks for sharing - now I'M exhausted!
you gots a great smile girly and it's cool to see some of these faces behind the blogs... all getting' 'faced
Could I look any more drunk in that picture?
No. I couldn't.
PS. Thank you for wrangling me. God knows where I would have been without you.
if i had that ass, i'd get all that lovin' up too. i'm just saying :)
That last photo really sums it up. It was so fun, but I slept for 6 hours on the plane and it only made a dent in the exhaustion.
But I can't wait for next year.
It all looks like so much fun...I so wish I could have gone...next year for sure. FOR SURE!
Was incredible meeting you!
What an awesome stolen photo post. I am excited to see all the fun you had and a tad bit jealous as well. I told hubby last night I am going next year....he said "Um, okay"
And here is me banging my head on my keyboard because I couldn't go.
Crap crap crapity crap.
Thanks for the Lijit mention and for stealing a somewhat less retarded picture of me. I appreciate both.
But you know, even if you hadn't installed, I still would've been your eternal fan and Rocky Mountain babysitter. That's how much I love you.
And, on a final note, I so wish that you and Bossy had been able to knock me up...
Great recap, although it makes me want to cry just a wee bit. Next year, fo sho. And please? help me lobby for EAST COAST BLOGHER for 2009 *does east coast gang sign thing*
You're the best.
I am totally stealing that photo of you and I because I somehow did not get one. Too busy flapping my lips, I guess.
You are beautiful both inside and out and I am tickled that we finally got to meet.
Yo, dude. I don't get the "photo stolen from" credits! You, ho! (-;
(Totally kidding.) I'm so glad I got to see you. Hope to see you again soon and actually TALK to you! LOL!
It was amazing meeting you - I have loved your blog forever and now I feel the same way about you!
Completely gorgeous photo recap. Thank you for the linky love + I hope next year we can have a longer conversation than "hey...whoa what's going on over there..." b/c this wknd was 100 miles/minute. Great to meet you + see you in '09!
You're so fabulous, Jessica. All wonderfullness and composure and hilarity. It was wonderful meeting you!
You called me a badass.
I think I love you. For true.
Whoa. Great summary in pictures. Worst picture of me ever, though. Ok, maybe not THE worst, but in the top 20.
You, as always, look fabulous. I'm considering the Atlanta BlogHer tour just to see you again.
Whoa you could almost do a photo blogroll.
Except, where are the naked bath house pics?
Hellloooooooo....
(and please, the toes don't count for shit)
I am trying to catch up on your blog after a WAY too long absence of not reading you. Loved the photos. You're amazing and I would loved to have been there to meet the readers. I hope someday my blog will be a must-read
Can I steal pics too? Then I can photoshop myself in and PRETEND I was there with all of you great gals!
i am so there next year!
Wait a minute - I thought this was blog HER. What was Laid Off Dad doing there? (or is there something 'he' isn't telling us?)
I would have come - sheesh.
i am laughing so fucking hard i'm crying. at work. awesome.
this was fucking hilarious. i especially love the under my spell picture- would have been better if i was actually looking at you, bossing you around or something.
and yes, not only do i miss your ass, but i miss your face and your arms and all the rest of you too!
XOXOXO SMOOOCH AND HUGS AND LOVE!
you're such a smokin' hot piece of ass.
wish i coulda grabbed me a hunka that ass during the big shew. also, didn't have any time with you this year. sad.
Ah, the love, it is restored. I love that photo. Almost as I love you.
And suddenly, I'm out of that damned uncanny valley I found myself in.
Wink.
WOW Looks like a great time!!!
I just searched all my photos and there is not a single one of us together! How did THAT happen? I'll keep looking, maybe someone else snapped one :) It was wonderful to see you as always!
Picturelicous! Thank you! I lived through you today by getting to see photos of the fun :-) You make me green with envy, but the fun couldn't happen to nicer people.
May the fun you had this year pale in comparison to the fun you will have next year! How cool that so many strangers could get together and have such a great time!
I'm just so totally disgusted that I DID NOT GO.
Disgusted.
But those are cute pictures!
Thank you for the opportunity to put so many faces with names, that's just cool.
Also, it cracks me up to see how many faces are lit up by bluish laptop glare during the intense "listening" portion of the weekend.
And..yes, nice ass!
So glad we got to smoosh and hug a bit, and hoping you're feeling better!
Feel like I was there after that post. Thanks! That lifted my spirits.
Awesome seeing all those photos of some of my fav bloggers... maybe next year I can make it. Fingers crossed.
Did you SEE that baby?!? Oh the baby, the baby, the baby, the beautiful baby. I love the baby. And also all the beautiful womens. Sigh. Deep envy. Sounds like it was a blast....
oh, and a subword in my verification: WOWZ
Thanks for stealing these pics (especially the one of me). It's making me miss you all already.
It was a thrill to meet you. Afterall, you're pretty much solely responsible for introducing me to my internet family. For that, I will always be grateful.
You are hawt!
And even when all you have are stolen pictures, you tell a great story!
Holy sweet baby Jeebus, J, that's a lot of stolen photos! You see that photo of me and Kyla drinking pink wine? SHE GOT CARDED ten seconds earlier, teehee.
You sure are good-lookin' my friend, and even cooler IRL than OL.
It was great to meet you and I'm so behind in finding your blog.
Phenomenal photo montage... best I've seen so far! Of course I only have about 700 more bloghers to work my way through! ;)
xoxo
You'll always be a highlight for me.
You stole from me! You stole from me!!! I'm FAMOUS now.
Oh and yeah, it was nice meeting you in person!
great post - the portable tv screen shot cracked me up. I was a no-show, but hope to see ya next year! jax
Oh, I am intensly jealous. (Mostly of your butt, but it looks like you had a super fun time at BlogHer, as well.)
That's the best recap on the web. Bottom's up!
(Not you, Jess... you keep your bottom down.)
So when bossy says to come and say hi - I come and say hi. Hi.
That booty shot is the funniest thing evah. Great re-cap, sorry to have missed meeting you!
