Spirit Brother

In the fewest of words, so much is spoken.

I am nothing but a low down lurker at sweet I salty, but I'm coming out of the closet to nominate the post Spirit Brother for an August Perfect Post Award.

She is amazing, to find the diamond in the dirt the way she does. Excellent choice.

I am also a lurker over at sweet/salty. Kate's words are so rich, so heartfelt, so heartbreakingly honest.

What a wonderful choice for this award.

You are so right. What a beautiful post. Usually I find the phrase "it touched my heart" really dumb... but those words truly did.

So heartbreaking and powerful in its simplicity. I remember being directed to her blog back in June, just after they lost Liam. I am going to have to go catch up now. She writes so beautifully.

Perfect choice. I have followed Kate's story since she announced her pregnancy. Each and every post since, has come so deep from her heart ... unbelievable the courage that she has shown, the lessons of love she has shared.

Oh my, thank you so much OTJ, and your readers too, for such wonderfully kind words. I'm still so honoured that people can relate to all that's happened.. it's such an amazing feeling to connect with people out there. It has been such therapy.

And now I've got a new read in you, which is great! Time to catch up...

I am so glad that you awarded her this. I've come close, then shied away because it almost seemed not quite right, not sufficient to the beauty of her posts. And then regretted it.

I'm so glad that you did this.
