I'll Test Your Theory

K took care of the kids all day on Saturday.

That would be ALL DAY.

He Who Does Not Live In Spain kept whisking the short, crying people off to their next activity.

[Sing theme from Rocky with gloating undertones.]

I had to work in the morning, but for the most part enjoyed an unexpected day of leisure.

I wondered what I had done to earn my freedom.

Oh, right.

I got all nekkid.

When the kids went to bed, I asked,

"So, K... If I were to git busy with your bad self again tonight, would you take care of the short people again all day on Sunday?"

He smiled wryly and said, "Well, you should definitely TEST that theory."

Thanks for the daily dose of laughter and the heaping side of smiles. You're good that way.

And....??? The theory? Tested, I'm sure it was ;) - Good for you guys. BUT....how did Sunday turn out?

If there is one rule of thumb in the IT world, it is test, test, test.

I LOVE those pictures of you. They are so funny! I save your blog for last when it shows up in my bloglines as new, because it always makes me smile.

ps - if you have any tips for meals on WW CORE, would you share them?

That would work with me too.

"git busy"!! HA!!! Chef called it "playing tiddly-winks". "Git busy" sounds a little more mature. Ha.

Keep testing that theory. Amazing the currency our bodies carry...

'Short crying people'. Love it.

I'm dying to know if the theory worked because that's the kind of boom-boom science I'm into.

Ah, I'll have to file that in my memory next time I need some ME time!

While the theory may work on it's principles, one must remember the number one flaw in all theories regarding us men... we have "short" memories!

I have to apply the same reward this weekend as compensation to my husband who's attending an all-day native plant conference with me on Saturday. It's the least I can do, considering.

I would totally test that theory, and I don't have rugrats.

Hmmmmm....so I guess I have to ask myself how badly I really want the time....

Sounds like a pretty fair trade though.

Mmmm hmm, sooo easy for all involved - if you are easy like me. Which I believe you are!

Here's to gittin busy! We did so much this morning, and walked out into the living room to find the girl happily watching elmo in her pajamas and somehow, her winter hat.

Guess you had to be there.

The look on your face in that picture is PRICELESS.

How do you think MOST mothers earn those beloved yard passes! You think that is bad! Imagine all the "bill paying" I have had to do in waiting for Mr. Mayhem's big "V"! He already emailed me at work today to remind me that tonight would be the last night we could "do something" for a week. (His surgery is tomorrow.)

Did I ever tell you about the "arrangement" I have with Husband? Two days a week, he works from home. On those days, he gets up with the kids, fixes them breakfast, packs lunch, gets Diminutive One on the bus, and takes Pre-Pubescent to school for intramurals...while I sleep until his lunch time (11:00). At which point, he does not eat lunch.

They are simple creatures...Lucky for us. ;?)

If I said that such behavior resulted in there being more money deposited into our account would that make me a ...you know...whore?

I have a feeling that theory would work at our house too.

So tell us... did it work on Sunday? And how did MLK day at the firehouse turn out?

Gettin' nekkid does wonders, doesn't it? I think I might have to get nekkid later, particularly since I got to sleep in 'til 9 this morning.
